John Rapchinski is the Chief Executive Officer and a Co-Founder of Fidato Partners and has more than 25 years of experience in professional services. In addition to managing the strategic direction of the Company, he oversees delivery across all of our service lines. This includes serving in senior accounting, finance and audit roles in companies ranging in size from $100 million in annual revenues to more than $15 billion, and supporting C-level searches. His significant projects comprise: acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, debt and equity offerings, adoption of new accounting pronouncements, program and project management, risk assessments, and ERP implementations.
Prior to Fidato Partners, John was a founder and Chief Executive Officer of a company that provided professional services across the CFO suite. Prior to founding the consulting company, he was the Chief Operating Officer for a technology firm servicing Forbes Global 2000 companies. He managed the company’s product development, sales and marketing, accounting and finance, operations, and client service.
John started his career in client facing roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where for 6 years he delivered audit and business advisory services to numerous companies, primarily focused in life sciences and consumer and industrial manufacturing clients. He is a CPA, has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and is a member of the Board of Directors at various privately-held entities.
Nichelle Shoreman is a Principal and the Chief Operating Officer of Fidato Partners and has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting. She directs multiple operations within the Company including leading the Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Team as well as establishing and overseeing the training program and professional development, hiring and resource management, organizational development, marketing and branding, client relationship management, internal systems and processes, including information technology support.
Prior to joining Fidato Partners, Nichelle spent the first 15 years of her career in client facing roles servicing large, complex registrants as part of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC’s) Assurance Practice. Nichelle then transitioned to an internal role at PwC for 12 years where she served in various internal service roles including Chief Operating Officer for PwC’s Philadelphia Market and East Region.
Nichelle holds her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from Franklin & Marshall College. Nichelle has been a CPA, member of the AICPA and PICPA for more than 25 years. She is also a Board Member of Women in Tech Leadership within the Philadelphia area.
Justin DiGaetano is the Managing Principal of the Risk Management Practice and a Co-Founder of Fidato Partners. He has been providing business process, information technology advisory, and assurance services to his clients for approximately 15 years. Justin has extensive experience with multinational clients with complex business processes, organizations and enterprise application solutions such as SAP, Workday, JD Edwards, and Oracle. He also provides strategic project management and best practices in ERP system implementations as well as evaluating and redesigning business processes. Additionally, Justin conducts projects to assess and implement Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX) audit plans that not only embrace the efficiency concepts outlined in AS-5, but also maximize the use of technology in designing effective and efficient audits.
Prior to co-founding Fidato Partners, Justin spent 8 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Risk Assurance Practice. He performed client audits through controls-based testing and analysis to support the overall controls reliance strategy for the financial audit including SOX compliance efforts.
Justin received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Villanova University where he currently sits on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Villanova Business School. He also previously served as an Advisory Council Member to Villanova’s Center for Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship. His certifications include: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in Risk Management Assurance® (CRMA®).
Jenn Stein is a Principal and the Chief Accounting Officer for Fidato Partners. She has more than 25 years of professional experience in finance and business.
Prior to joining Fidato Partners, she started her career at BDO Seidman in both the audit and tax departments. Upon her departure from public accounting, she consulted with various private companies in the areas of accounting and finance, including due diligence, forensics, book keeping and financial statements.
Jenn received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology from American University.
Jason Evans is the Managing Principal of the Accounting & Finance Practice for Fidato Partners, and has more than 25 years of accounting and reporting experience. He has extensive expertise in accounting for business combinations, consolidations, external and management reporting, planning and forecasting and leveraging technology to drive operational improvements. Jason oversees, manages and performs numerous engagements from financial reporting solutions to accounting standards implementations to business combinations and integrations to enterprise performance management (EPM) system implementations.
Prior to joining Fidato Partners, Jason spent 10 years in financial leadership positions within manufacturing and distribution companies. During that time, Jason developed accounting departments, inclusive of implementing SOX-compliant accounting and reporting internal control environments, global accounting policies, financial consolidation and reporting systems, and document management and workflow systems for accounting and customer contract compliance purposes. Jason started his career within the Assurance Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Drexel University, is a licensed CPA and a member of the AICPA and PICPA.
Kevin Higgins is the Managing Principal of the Information Technology Practice for Fidato Partners and has more than 20 years of professional services experience as a technology solutions leader with a track record of success building, leading and contributing to teams that solve complex business problems for customers. He is responsible for developing the consulting team’s core competencies and overseeing delivery efforts to help our clients maximize their technology investments. In addition to consulting, Kevin leads the IT recruiting team to support both internal and client resource requirements across technology stacks and industries.
Prior to joining Fidato Partners Kevin held leadership roles driving enterprise solutions development and served as a consultant for leading technology services firms in both large and mid-market organizations. He began his career as a system engineer, solution architect and program delivery manager with a passion for bridging the gap between IT and the business. As a result, Kevin has developed a high level of proficiency in working collaboratively with customers through flexible engagement models to support business goals and establish trusted partnerships.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science from Shippensburg University.
Patrick McGowan is a Principal and leads Business Development for Fidato Partners. He is a Client Relationship Leader with nearly 20 years of experience in professional services, related to business development and account management with a focus in accounting, internal audit, finance and technology. Patrick understands customer needs and provides expertise in consulting and recruiting services related to the following areas: complex technical accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, creation and documentation of policies, transaction and integration support, project and change management, data validation and management, process and system integration, risk assessments, and internal audit.
Prior to joining Fidato Partners, Patrick worked for SMART Business Advisory and Consulting, where he led the recruiting function for the Advisory Practice. Before this, for approximately 10 years, Patrick was a Partner and the Director of Operations for a regional staffing company, overseeing sales, client management and recruiting activities.
Patrick attended Penn State University where he studied Labor and Industrial Relations. He is an active member in PA Life Sciences, PACT (Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies) and the Irish American Business Chamber in Philadelphia.
Michael Siwicki is a Principal in the Accounting & Finance Practice for Fidato Partners. With 18 years in professional services, Michael has been providing solutions to clients in multiple sectors globally and has extensive experience with regulatory compliance, internal and external audit, system and process improvement, and large-scale project management. He is a subject matter expert in Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX) implementation and compliance, project assurance, data security, enterprise-risk, and integration.
Prior to Fidato Partners, Michael began his career with Arthur Andersen, followed by 16 years in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC’s) Risk Assurance Practice, where he managed a portfolio of clients leading teams of professionals to deliver assurance and advisory services. He supported clients in multiple sectors and has significant experience in chemicals, financial services, industrial products, technologies, and utilities. In addition, for three years Michael served one of the largest global insurance companies located in Switzerland, where he led an international engagement team.
Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting Information Systems from Bryant University. He is a certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and has been a board member of the Inspired Children’s Foundation since 2008.
Jennifer Deane is the Senior Manager of Human Resources for Fidato Partners and possesses nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting. She assists with multiple operations within the Company including hiring and resource management, human resources, internal systems and processes. She also has a key role in establishing and composing our internal materials including content development and course design for internal training programs.
Prior to joining Fidato Partners, Jennifer spent the first 12 years of her career in client-facing roles servicing external clients as part of the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Assurance Practice. She then transitioned to an internal role at PwC for 6 years where she served in a resource management role and was responsible for the deployment of over 400 client-facing individuals within the PwC Assurance Practice in Philadelphia.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Connecticut. She is a CPA and a member of the AICPA.
John Fidler leads Fidato Partners’ Retained Search Practice focused on placing executive-level finance, information technology and human resources professionals in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Retained Search Practice has access to the most talented executives in the area and in addition to talent identification, assessment and placement, we provide coaching and mentoring, job market analysis, compensation benchmarking, and C-suite advice.
John has more than 10 years of search experience. Prior to joining Fidato Partners, he worked with a wide variety of privately-held, publicly-traded and Fortune 1000 clients. John focused on client service and business development and led the successful placement of executives for both small and mid-market companies across all industries. He began his career overseeing sales and marketing within the publishing industry, where he recruited and built a majority of the company’s sales force.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bloomsburg University. He has presented to a number of outplacement and industry associations and has published several articles on topics related to the recruitment of senior executives. He is involved with the Philadelphia business community and works with organizations such as the Walnut Street Theatre and Philadelphia Outward Bound School.
